Our
riverfront homes border the Russian River in Healdsburg, California
- very close to town. The homes are situated from less than
3 miles from the historic central plaza in downtown Healdsburg,
and enjoy a scenic and idyllic riverside location along our
charming little Fitch Mountain. The river is your backyard playground...
(The Old River Lodge is 1.8 miles from
the park plaza in downtown, Riverwood Lodge is 2.6 miles and
Firefly and Northwoods share the same rivefront lane at 3 miles
from the plaza).
Our homes are close to town and convenient to all Wine Country
venues, (including the Villa Chanticleer Event & Conference
Center (as well as numerous other winery, wedding, and event
centers, including TrentaDue, Healdsburg Country Gardens), the
Healdsburg Golf Club at Tayman Park, and the Healdsburg Memorial
Beach and Park.
Healdsburg is just a short getaway from the Bay Area as it is
only 70 miles north of San Francisco, via the Golden Gate Bridge
on Highway 101. Our lodges provide a convenient and relaxing
Weekend Getaway for city dwellers! Sonoma and Napa are to the
southeast (about 30 and 50 miles, respectively) via the scenic
Valley of the Moon; the charming town of Calistoga is just a
30 minutes drive East, and to the West about 30 miles is the
Pacific Ocean and the scenic towns of Jenner and Bodega Bay.

Located
in Northwest Sonoma County between the Alexander, Dry Creek and
Russian River Valleys, Healdsburg is in the center of the most
picturesque grape-growing region in California. The area's 100
plus wineries are located in one of the premium growing regions
of the world.
Northern Sonoma County also offers visitors a taste of this area's bountiful and diverse agriculture, with fresh local produce, gourmet foods, and abundant seafood from the Pacific Ocean.

Healdsburg
is 30 minutes from the Pacific Coast to the west; 30 minutes from
Napa County to the east. The landscape is breathtaking, abounding
in natural scenery and vineyard views. There are unique shopping,
dining, cultural, and recreational opportunities, and the photogenic
Russian River running through Healdsburg at the very convergence
of three world class wine producing valleys, provides enjoyment
opportunities for all. In 2007, the area was named one of the
top places in the world for scenic cycling.
