ABOUT RIVERWOOD
LODGE
5+
ROOMS, 3 BATHS, SLEEPS 6-14 GUESTS
Our maximum occupancy of
adults is 10, but we allow up to 14 total guests with the inclusion
of children.
Due
to the peaceful and residential nature of our neighborhood no
parties or special events are permitted, and the home's use is
restricted to no more than the number of paid guests (exceptions
can be made, please inquire).
(for
larger groups, consider our Northwoods
Lodge just 1/2 mile away which sleeps an additional
4-8 guests. Our Firefly
Lodge property also just 1/2 mile away, sleeps
an additional 6-12 guests. Lastly, our property
The Old River Lodge (just 3/4 mile away) sleeps
an additional 4-9 guests.
RIVERWOOD LODGE
is an elegant and spacious home that sits at a prime location
(the Del Rio Woods Resort area of Healdsburg, just 2.6 miles from
the park plaza in downtown) on the Russian River. With a riverside
deck, kayaks, patio and hot tub (and a new sauna arriving in March
'09) from which to enjoy river views, recreation room with ping-pong
table and a large and inviting great room, there's plenty of space
for comfortable relaxation. There are 5 private rooms: 3 king-size
beds, 2 queen-size beds, all with fine, 100% cotton linens, and
down alternative comforters. There is also a 5th "sleeping
room" in the recreation room with two full/double beds (and
two additional single-size beds available on the main level).
This grand riverfront home has 3 full baths and an outdoor shower.

equipped kitchen, including tableware, cooking utensils, refrigerator
with icemaker, range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor,
coffeemaker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster and other small
appliances; also includes cleaning supplies, and basic kitchen
necessities as well as a variety of basic cooking condiments
and spices. |

Linens, bath towels and beach towels provided. Hair dryers.
Ironing board and iron. Washer and Dryer located in lower
level bath. (We use Allegy Guard dust mite barriers and down
alternative comforters). |

play yard/portable crib (for babies up to 30 lbs and 35 inches
tall) with sheet and blanket, a high chair and a baby gate
are provided at the house. |

table tennis (ping-pong), and other games and some videos
available in the recreation room, as well as a large screen

EXTERIOR
| The
home sits on the banks of the Russian River with spacious
decks, a peaceful riverview and private beach. |
LIVING
ROOM
| The
living room has comfortable seating, and is an inviting place
to gather for conversations around the fireplace, or television
viewing. There is a cabinet with TV, VCR, Stereo, CD &
DVD playing capabilities. There is also a Sony IPOD and MP3
docking station, charger, and player. |
GREAT
ROOM
| The
great room is spacious, with high ceilings, and a grand sized
dining table for 12. It opens directly to a covered and uncovered
deck area for outdoor riverview dining and lounging. |
KITCHEN
The
kitchen combines technology (all the modern conveniences
you'll need) with rustic charm (a modern range disguised
in classic-style). There are doorways opening to both the
Livingroom and Great Room for easy serving, and to the covered
front porch for morning coffee. A custom kitchen table with
6 hand-crafted hickory chairs and faux antler chandelier
complete the rustic decor.

RECREATION
ROOM
The
recreation room provides plenty of space for the young at
heart. There is a ping-pong table, a huge cable TV with
a VCR/DVD player, and high quality futon sofas that make
into comfortable full/double size beds. The room is large,
rustic and comfortable and has easy access to the lower
patio and 5 person Marquis spa through two French doors
which offer river views. |

bathrooms have modern amenities and charming rustic décor.
The main level hall bath has a large tiled shower.
The main level master bath has a tub/shower combination.

The
beds are appointed with high quality, pillow top mattresses
and fine linens. High quality Allergy Guard dust mist proof
casings encase all of our mattresses, box springs, comforters
and pillows. The rooms are private and comfortable, three
with a king bed, and two with a queen bed, with 100% cotton
linens, and down alternative comforters, with bathrooms
adjoining or nearby. There are 5 private rooms (3 king and
2 queen), plus the recreation room with two full/double
beds for a 6th "sleeping room". There are also
two twin beds in the Great Room on the main level of the
house. |

The
lower patio area includes a 5 person Marquis spa and a new
Far
Infrared Sauna, which also seats 5. There is a log swing
for two, a hammock you can use here or in the shade of the
trees, lounge chairs and a comfortable round lounger for
two. Relax in the shade or soak up the sun. The picnic table
provides a place for having lunch under the shade of our
fruit trees.

/ VIEWS
| Enjoy
river views from the house. Stairs give easy access to the
beach for swimming, fishing or boat launching, in season (typically
May 1-October 31). The fishing here is relaxed and uncrowded.
